The Mountain Magnolia Inn is open for lodging and events according to CDC guidelines and state guidance and restrictions. The Garden House, Creek House, Blue Heron, and Stone Cottage are also available for nightly lodging. Below is information about some changes and the extra efforts we are taking at Mountain Magnolia Inn to provide a space that is safe, clean, and comfortable.
In efforts to keep our guests and staff safe, we are following state mandates on mask wearing indoors while moving throughout the Inn’s common areas. When you are in your room, seated for breakfast, and outdoors where social distancing is possible, masks are optional.
Clean and Safe
We have always prided ourselves on maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our properties. Our staff will be sanitizing frequently used surfaces several times a day along with wearing facial coverings while inside the Inn.
If you have a fever, Covid-19 symptoms, or have been directly exposed to someone with Covid- 19, we ask that you please stay home.
It is our pledge to you as our guests that we are giving Covid “no room at the Inn” by following CDC disinfecting guidelines, wearing a mask, and social distancing. We would appreciate your help in doing everything you can to keep yourself, other guests, and our employees healthy and safe.
We hope to make efforts for social distancing easy and comfortable by offering self-check in/out during this time while always being available either in the office or via call or text with any questions or needs. For guests in the main Inn, an envelope will be available to you with keys and instruction, and the innkeeper will be in touch with you before your stay, if necessary, to go over any special instructions. For guests in the outside cottages, your confirmation letter will give you instructions for self-check-in to your individual cottage.
Early check ins and late check outs will not be available at this time so that our staff has plenty of time to properly clean and sanitize.
Continental Breakfast (inn guests only)
A continental breakfast is included each morning for Inn guests only. Guests will be served at the table of your choosing in our indoor or outdoor spaces along with having the option to take breakfast to your room.
Updated Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation more than 14 days before your arrival date, a refund of deposit, less a $35.00 cancellation fee, will be issued. Early departures will be treated like a cancellation.
If you cancel within 14 days or less of your arrival date, there will not be a refund and you will be responsible for payment of the total charges.
If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date due to Covid-19 symptoms, positive test, direct exposure to someone who has tested positive with Covid-19,or travel restrictions due to the virus, we will offer a credit in the amount that has been paid for a future stay. A doctor’s note or positive test will be necessary to confirm.
