Bed and Breakfast and Events
We hope all of you are staying well during these challenging times.
The Mountain Magnolia Inn is open for lodging and small events and serving a delicious breakfast each morning to our Inn guests. The Garden House, Creek House, Blue Heron, and Stone Cottage are also available for nightly lodging. Below is information about some changes and the extra efforts we are taking at Mountain Magnolia Inn to provide a space that is safe, clean, and comfortable.
In efforts to keep our guests and staff safe, we require that you wear a mask while in the common areas and moving throughout the Inn. When you are in your room, seated for breakfast, and outdoors where social distancing is possible, masks are optional.
Clean and Safe
We have always prided ourselves on maintaining a high level of cleanliness in our properties. Our staff will be sanitizing frequently used surfaces several times a day along with wearing facial coverings while inside the Inn.
If you have a fever, Covid-19 symptoms, or have been directly exposed to someone with Covid- 19, please stay home. We will issue a gift certificate towards a future stay in the amount that you have paid.
It is our pledge to you as our guests that we are giving Covid “no room at the Inn” by following CDC disinfecting guidelines, wearing a mask, social distancing, and regular health checks. We would appreciate your help in doing everything you can to keep yourself, other guests, and our employees healthy and safe.
We hope to make efforts for social distancing easy and comfortable by offering self-check in/out during this time while always being available either in the office or via call or text with any questions or needs. An envelope will be available to you with keys and instruction, and the innkeeper will be in touch with you before your stay, if necessary, to go over any special instructions.
Early check ins and late check outs will not be available at this time so that our staff has plenty of time to properly clean and sanitize.
Breakfast is included each morning for Inn guests only. Guests will be served at the table of your choosing in our indoor or outdoor spaces along with having the option of having breakfast in your room.
As always, we will do all we can to cater to necessary dietary restrictions. We ask that guests let the innkeeper know in advance about dietary needs or allergies so that we can create something for you.
Updated Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your reservation more than 14 days before your arrival date, a refund of deposit, less a $35.00 cancellation fee, will be issued. Early departures will be treated like a cancellation.
If you cancel within 14 days or less of your arrival date, there will not be a refund and you will be responsible for payment of the total charges.
If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date due to Covid-19 symptoms, positive test, direct exposure to someone who has tested positive with Covid-19,or travel restrictions due to the virus, we will issue a gift certificate in the amount that has been paid for a future stay.
We ask all guests who are sick or have been directly exposed to someone who is sick to reschedule their stay to another date.
If you need to cancel prior to the 14-day window, we kindly ask that you accept a credit towards a future stay instead of a refund. This makes such a huge difference for a small business like ours, and we appreciate you considering.
How Can You Support our Small Business?
It is no secret that the hospitality industry has been hit hard by the Covid-19 epidemic. One way that you can help to support small businesses like ours through this time is by purchasing a gift certificate. Do you have a loved one working on the front lines, homeschooling their children, or just someone you would like to share your love of the Hot Springs and the Mountain Magnolia Inn with? Give them a gift of a vacation now or to look forward to when things start to return to normal.
The Mountain Magnolia Inn thanks you for visiting our page and considering a stay with us! If you have any additional questions or would like to make a reservation, contact the innkeeper.
Wishing you well!
Karen, Marion, Mary Helen, and the Mountain Magnolia family
