Mountain Magnolia Inn is a full service country inn and restaurant located outside Asheville in Hot Springs, NC, surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and beautiful mountain views.
Pete and Karen Nagle have operated the Inn for 12 years as a historic property which emphasizes exceptional service, great food and eco-friendly practices. Mountain Magnolia is a wonderful place for a relaxing retreat, romantic getaway, and to experience what the North Carolina Mountains have to offer.
The Inn originally was the estate of Colonel James H. Rumbough and his wife Carie who owned and operated the 350 room Mountain Park Hotel where the Hot Springs Spa is now located. The Inn can accommodate 35 guests and has 5 individual guest rooms and a 2 bedroom suite; "The Garden House" which has 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen; and Fowler's Bend which has 2 suites and a small one bedroom unit.
We serve breakfast each morning and dinner Friday through Monday from 5:00-9:00pm. Private dining is available nightly with advance reservations. Dress as you wish, from casual to fine. Reservations are suggested, but walk-ins are welcome. When making reservations, let us know of any special occasion, so we can make your night one to remember.

Mountain Magnolia Inn caters to all your spa needs. We provide you with the necessary amenities for hot mineral bath appointments you schedule including robes and a personal spa bag which including towels and bottled water.
Massage and other spa services are given in the cupola of the inn by Marie Judy B.S., L.M.B.T , Professional Massage Therapist. Hot mineral baths are at the Hot Springs Spa which is just 2 minutes from the Inn.

The Inn is a fully restored, 3-story 1868 Victorian estate featured in This Old House magazine, HGTV and Southern Living. The 3.5 acre estate offers a park-like setting with beautiful mountain views and luxurious accommodations.
