Just 35 miles North of Asheville and named for the hot mineral springs found here, the Town of Hot Springs, NC is surrounded by mountains & is located at the junction of the French Broad River and the Appalachian Trail.

The Inn was the estate of James H. Rumbough and his wife Carie who owned and operated the 350 room Mountain Park Hotel located where the Hot Springs Spa is now located.Mountain Magnolia consists of the Inn which has 5 individual rooms and a 2 bedroom suite; the Garden House which has 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen; and Fowler’s Bend which has 2 suites and a small one bedroom unit.

Pete and Karen Nagle have operated the Inn for 10 years as a historic property which emphasizes exceptional service, great food and eco-friendly practices More
