Mountain Magnolia Inn is a full service inn and restaurant located in Hot Springs, NC, adjacent to the hot mineral springs. The Inn has a range of accommodations for couples, families, and groups including individual guest rooms, several suites with kitchens, a chalet, and two cottages. Hot Springs was recently voted Best Small Mountain Town from Georgia to West Virginia due to our wonderful natural resources and friendly small town feel.

Pete and Karen Nagle have operated the Inn for 14 years as a historic property which emphasizes exceptional service, great food and eco-friendly practices. Mountain Magnolia is a wonderful place for a relaxing retreat, romantic getaway, and to experience what the North Carolina Mountains have to offer.

In August, 2012, Karen Nagle and her friend Karen Moore opened a new lodging and retreat venue here in Hot Springs called the Laughing Heart Lodge so check it out! The Lodge is a beautifully restored 1890's lodge which was most recently The Jesuit House of Prayer. The Lodge has 9 private guest rooms, a very affordable hostel right off the Appalachian Trail, a cabin, and a chapel which is great for yoga, meetings, religious groups and more.

We serve breakfast each morning for guests of the inn and dinner is open to the public Thursday through Monday from 5:30-9:00pm. Private dining is available nightly with advance reservations. Dress as you wish, from casual to fine. Reservations are suggested, but walk-ins are welcome. When making reservations, let us know of any special occasion, so we can make your night one to remember.

The Mountain Magnolia Inn caters to all your spa needs. We provide you with the necessary amenities for hot mineral bath appointments you schedule, including robes and a personal spa bag which includes towels and bottled water.

Massage and other spa services are given in the cupola of the inn by Marie Judy B.S., L.M.B.T , Professional Massage Therapist. Hot mineral baths are provided by the Hot Springs Spa which is just two minutes from the Inn.
